The Adagio String Quartet is a professional string quartet located in Corpus Christi, Texas. We have over forty years of combined experience in public performance including symphonic, and wedding related music settings. We are professionally mangaged and always seek to provide the nest musical services possible in South Texas.

Community Orchestra and String Techniques

 A group composed of a String Orchestra and a Guitar Ensemble with the goal of coming together and becoming one big string group making music together. All aand skill levels are welcome!

The Kingsville Symphony Orchestra is a collaboration between Texas A&M-Kingsville and the Kingsville Community. The Victoria Symphony is a wonderful gathering of both student and professional musicians from the South Texas area gather create great music!

 In August of 2016, Joey Galvan put out a call to the musician community for a benefit concert to help the victims of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting. After immediate success of the benefit concert, a few of the musicians got together and talked about forming a formal orchestra to fill the need for a regional repertory orchestra in San Antonio. In 2018, Symphony Viva was approached by Alamo City Performing Arts to play in their annual production of The Nutcracker. After a few meetings, it became apparent that the best way to fulfill both organization's Missions and Visions, was to have Symphony Viva become a part of Alamo City Performing Arts.

More than fifty years ago, Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki realized the implications of the fact that children the world over learn to speak their native language with ease. He began to apply the basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and called his method the mother-tongue approach. The ideas of parent responsibility, loving encouragement, constant repetition, etc., are some of the special features of the Suzuki approach.
